From the author:
This film is a personal account of my travels around the British countryside in 2010, showing some of the more interesting wildlife I encountered along the way.
The story begins on a cold January morning watching a vagrant Black-throated Thrush in the North Yorkshire village of Newholm.
We continue through the year, showing you various aspects of British wildlife that include winter birds, spring reptiles and summer insects and flowers.
As autumn sets in and nature begins to slow down we make a final trip to find a Pied-billed Grebe from across the Atlantic that has found its way to Hollingworth Lake Country Park in Lancashire.
This production was filmed using a broadcast quality digital format. The footage has been captured onto DVD showing approximately 65 minutes of high quality uncompressed digital video with complete menu accessed using your DVD players remote.
